Love.

So, we are leaving Glasgow tomorrow morning at 4am to catch a flight from Edinburgh to Krakow! It is so surreal that this day has actually arrived. We are obviously excited but also a little apprehensive, not just about travelling to these strange and unknown places but also because of the emotional toll this journey will take on us.

For us the Holocaust is not just about the attempted destruction of entire peoples, it is about the personal loss that took place. It will be impossible to comprehend the pain that those we interview will have endured, how it must have felt to have lost their mothers, fathers, siblings, friends and lovers, and it will most certainly reinforce how incredibly fortunate some of us are to have love in our lives.

We believe that love is the most powerful force in the world, it makes us do ridonculous things but it is also what makes life worth living. So, before we leave we want to remind everyone how important it is to tell those you love that you love them. Quite simply, life is too short not to.

Wish us luck!
